It's work for The Red Beard Studio. They asked about picture  they could use as a logo and as a main picture at their personal page. 

My idea was simple: if we had beard in the name of this studio, we should know who is the man with the beard. 

Of cource, he is craftsman and wizard and calm, kind person. I made some sketches to find the right mood. 

And we decided to work with two of them. So I did pictures with ink and scanned it. 

And then the time had come to color it. After the coloring my clients made their choice.

 It was the last one picture in the first row. But they asked to try in with green background.

And then I saw that it's working: green and red! I did some variants to choose the hue and contrast.
